CPA & Director of Accounting and Assurance Services

Mike Trefzger, CPA, joined the Stancil team in 2016.  Mike is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he received both his Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degrees in Accounting.  Mike has over eight years of experience performing audit and tax services and is licensed in North Carolina.   Mike is also a member of the NCACPA and AICPA.  As the Director of Accounting and Assurance Services, Mike is heavily involved in Stancil’s nonprofit and small business audit services.

Mike is a cabinet member of the NCACPA’s Young Professionals Cabinet, a member of the NCACPA’s Audit and Accounting Resource Group, and a contributing author for the NCACPA’s magazine Interim Report.  He enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family.
