CPA and Director of Quality Control of Tax Compliance Services Susan M. Stillings joined Stancil in 1997 and is currently the Director of Quality Control of Tax Compliance Services. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a staff accountant for companies in North Carolina and New York. She works with a variety of clients, from sole proprietors to multi-state corporations in a broad range of industries. She is involved in tax planning and tax compliance services for businesses, individuals, and nonprofits. Sue received a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Download my vCard.

CPA & Director of Accounting and Assurance Services Mike Trefzger, CPA, joined the Stancil team in 2016.  Mike is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he received both his Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degrees in Accounting.  Mike has over eight years of experience performing audit and tax services and is licensed in North Carolina.   Mike is also a member of the NCACPA and AICPA.  As the Director of Accounting and Assurance Services, Mike is heavily involved in Stancil’s nonprofit and small business audit services. Mike is a cabinet member of the NCACPA’s Young Professionals Cabinet, a member of the NCACPA’s Audit and Accounting Resource Group, and a contributing author for the NCACPA’s magazine Interim Report.  He enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family.
